Another pair of Pillowcases arrived from the USA today. These are machine embroidered, and I don't usually collect that kind of stitching, but these are so beautiful I just couldn't resist them - could you have?

It would be sacrilege to put one's head on top of all that beautiful embroidery. They are truly a work of art.
LOL Alice! Those pillowslips never go on any pillows in this house! For a start, they are way too big - Americans seem to go for the larger 'continental' size pillowslips. Mine are stored away until they are brought out to be put on display.
So pretty! I'd be afraid to sleep on them. LOL Wouldn't it be fun though to wake up with a peacock feather inprint on your face? :o)
