On eBay, this was titled "Hand/tea towel". It could be either as it is stitched on huckabuck fabric, but I would be reluctant to wipe either hands or dishes on it! From the USA as usual.

Hi its me again. just looking at your other sites. OHHHH i wouldnt wipe my hands on that cloth either it for show only and put away were kids cant reach to wipe there grubby hands
No doubt, I would drip dry before I dried my hands on this beauty!
