Fabulous embroidered peacock!

This arrived from the USA today (eBay purchase). If you've been reading this blog since it's inception, you will have read the following words before, so I apologise if I'm sounding like a broken record! This embroidery has to be the most beautiful and perfectly stitched peacock I've ever seen. It is on a large piece of fine material that is big enough to make a cushion cover of it, but I won't be doing that. I'd rather frame it, but as I have so many other things I'd like to get framed one day, I'm going to run out of wall space!

This is a beautiful peacock! you know, someday I will make a beaded peacock! And, I responded to your ATC comment. Many artists sell them on Ebay to the highest bidder, and get very good prices for them! are ATCs are sold on Etsy as well. Thanks for your interest! :D

This is just stunning! I'm glad I found your blog!

I've stitched a couple peacocks for myself; I tend to collect the patterns and never get around to stitching them. ;) I do plan on doing the William Morris one someday.

this is an incredible collection. They are magnificent birds if not the brainiest birds - Fred was always displaying to the guinea fowl - he really was unable to understand how they could possibly reject his beauty!
