This blog is an off-shoot of my first blog known as Patra's Place, where I show my linen collection. I had featured a number of embroidered peacocks there, which attracted a lot of interest, so I decided it was worthwhile to transfer them all to a separate blog, along with pictures of other peacock-related items.

eBay win - lovely table runner.
This magnificent table runner has the same design at each end. The first photo shows the complete design at one end, the second pic is slightly closer to show the stitching. Notice the silver thread used in the urn.
Thank you Janice and Laren, for your continued interest in my collection. I'm not the only one to collect peacock-themed things, Janice - I sometimes have quite a battle on eBay with other people bidding on the linen! Oh Laren, don't you just adore their tails? My MIL is very superstitious about peacock feathers - says they bring bad luck. Otherwise I would have them all over my house - LOL!
I was married to Ken for 43 years, but he died in October 2022. So I am now alone with two cats, eight hens, and a few finches and parrots in one aviary.

Look at all of those stitches! How pretty it is! You are the first person I've heard of that collects peacocks. What a wonderful thing to collect!
