This blog is an off-shoot of my first blog known as Patra's Place, where I show my linen collection. I had featured a number of embroidered peacocks there, which attracted a lot of interest, so I decided it was worthwhile to transfer them all to a separate blog, along with pictures of other peacock-related items.

Gina, thank you, thank you!! I'd love to draft out this little one. It's so pretty! I'll do it next week when I have some free time and I'll let you know when it's on ready. I love looking at all of these gorgeous little peacocks!
First, I do so enjoy your site.. The first embroidery work I had ever seen as a child was when my stepmother embroidered the most lovely peacock I had ever seen on a linen dresser scarf. Second, are the tear shaped end sections of the tail leaves done in cut work? This particular peacock peaks my interest..grin
Sorry... that's "tail feathers"! Not enough coffee yet..grin
